…and I build & launch mobile apps.
Instead of spending a few days (or more!) trying to see if we’re a good match, I want you to know a bit about me, who I am and what I do.
By the end of this short guide you’ll know if we’re a good fit (like peanut butter and … well, anything really :P).
Jorge helped me build MrCesar, an app that lets me help more high school students go through the college application process.
A NOTE FROM JORGE…
If you’re reading this, you probably have a new app idea and are looking for someone to make it happen. You’ve probably seen other developer’s portfolios. Maybe you have even hired someone else but things didn’t work out as planned.
I started JAVEBRATT because I wanted to do things differently:
- I don’t collaborate on projects that I don’t believe in if it can’t make you more $$ than what you’ll pay me for building it I won’t do it.
If we collaborate together I will serve your audience, so I’ll do things based on what will work best for them.
Most importantly, I leverage the same skills in my work that I use for myself every day: writing and launching books, releasing products, and building my own audience and authority. I like applying what I’ve learned to help my clients succeed.
I’m here to help you and this is what you’ll get…
- You’ll get a partner that will do more than ‘just coding’ to help make your project a success.
I treat every project as a collaboration instead of a client-and-service-
provider relationship, because I’ve found that delivers the best results.
I only work with people who are just as stoked about the project as I am about building new things.
You’ll capitalize in the rising dominance of mobile devices without taking the time or budget building multiple native apps with overlapping functionality.
I only take on projects where I think there will be a substantial ROI. If your idea isn’t going to make more than you’ll spend building it then there’s a strong likelihood that we won’t be a good fit.
Again, I only want to take your money if I see that I can end up giving you a big multiple back in return.
I work with clients to create:
- Prototypes (or MVP) for mobile apps.
Updates and new versions of apps I’ve created.
Consulting/Advice for people who are about to create their own app.
I DON’T work with clients to create:
- Updates/Fixes/Support for apps I didn’t create.
What’s like to work with me?
I divide my work into 4 stages:
Stage #1: I get to know you… (Before we start working together)
Don’t worry, this is easy, you answer 5 short questions so I can know more about your project and see if there’s a potential fit.
Stage #2: Planning + Strategy (Week #1)
We talk through your current goals and work out your objectives and the app details, including how it should look and feel, and what you want your audience to accomplish while using it.
Stage #3: Development (Week #2 to Week N)
I develop the app prototype based on the goals you have for both your business and your audience.
Stage #4: Bug Squashing (Week N+1)
You invite a few members of your audience to test the app and break it so we can find potential problems and fix them before publishing to the App Store and Google Play.
Like what you’ve read?
If you think we’ll be a great fit, use the form below to let me know you a bit, and I’ll get back to you in a day or two.
I only work with one client at a time, so if I’m currently in the middle of a project I’ll let you know and share my next available date with you.
